JV: Statesman

Aside from what you think of this man ~ ham or not, he makes sense.  Not too sure about his gubernatorial record, either.  He is a statesman, not a career politician.  I do think he is on to something. In fact, I have followed him for years.

Listen to what he exposes about the WTC attack on September 11, 2001:

This tape was banned on many television stations:

As governor, this is what an anonymous person said of him:

"Jesse seemed very effective as some things, seemed honest and genuine. However, he also seemed to have an exaggerated sense of himself, which may have been arrogance. He was good as an underdog but not as good as an elected leader. Some people said he was very street smart. He seemed to pick good people.

He seemed to pick some good people. I think he was effective during his first year, much less effective his second year, and not affective during the last 2 years. Basically, he just got bored with it, picked fights with people over insignificant issues, and seemed somewhat vain and thin skinned, and was a bit of a bully. He went nuts over being sworn in as Jesse Ventura instead of James George Janos and got upset over claims that his son partied and trashed the governors mansion when Jesse and Terri were away. He didn't like the press coverage during his last 2 years and forced those who reported on him to wear WEASEL buttons to gain access to him at briefings to the press."

For more insight about Jesse, see this link "The Anatomy of a Political Ad" from Dick Gordon's The Story:

I like his ideas. That he looks out for the underdog.  I don't like aspects of his personality.  I do like a statesman.  Where are they?
