Puleeze, don't oogle!

There is nothing worse than groupies and there is nothing worse than celebrity types who want and need groupies.

Sure, it is fun to meet people whose work you admire.  I admire my carpenter, physician and an artist friend.  But I don't plan to go oogle eyes over them. Like me, they do what they do.  No reason to make a fuss over them.

Just about everyone I look, the celebrity types band together in a clique.  They were invited to an event and as such, one would think they would mingle, get to know their customers or followers and learn something from them. After all this is all about the stories.  People are merely the messengers.  I like that.

One such individual, a phenomenal speaker, a true leader, made a point to seek out people he did not know.  He wanted to hear their stories.  Their stories were compiled into research.  Compiled into more stories that he could share with his audience.

So, please, do not oogle over me.  Do not play groupie.  Be yourself as I will be mine.  I want to hear your stories.  Your experiences.  To do otherwise, is well, trite.

Liberation Day begins October 1, 2015 where we wear this button without fear of being ostracized, ignored, ridiculed, whispered about.  We tell what happened to us and work until the truth is finally told about the extra-terrestrials. Some experience post traumatic stress disorder, depression, ups and downs which they have never understood.  Until now.  Until people stand together, band together to share their experience.
